“Today I was looking at my favorite wedding picture of ours. It's the only one we display, after all, in 9 years of marriage, there are plenty of other captured moments that fill the space on our walls. In this picture, we both look so at peace, in love, and connected. There is an overwhelming sense of "I've got you, and you've got me" when I look at this picture.
But today, I had a new sentiment as I looked at this picture of baby-faced “us”. All that love, all that passion, I realized, was just a drop in the bucket of what our relationship is today. The depth and breadth of our love are so much greater today and on such a different level that 'love' doesn't even feel like the right word anymore. If that was love in that picture, this is something different. Something much, much more.
This next level of connection has blossomed and developed as my husband has worked through Sarrah's program. His growth has been our growth. As his masculine energy has come to the surface, my feminine energy has been unshackled in response, and these energies together make a sum that is more than its parts.
As for the sex that has resulted from the program, if there are words to describe it, I don't know them. And this is "just the tip" of the iceberg because every time we have sex, it is exponentially more spiritual, emotional, and physically sensational. I am convinced that if they taught this in sex-ed, there would be no more wars.”
